San Antonio police pulled over a woman along the 6300 block of the I-35 access road at around 10 p.m. Friday, but she apparently had other plans.

Authorities said she told the officer she had outstanding warrants, but when that officer turned back to his squad car to run her information, she sped off.

She didn't get far though.

According to police, the woman ran a red light and T-boned a gray minivan at an intersection. The suspect still refused to give up, they said.

She reportedly jumped out of her crashed vehicle and tried to take off running. Police chased down the suspect and put her under arrest.

Two adults and two children who were in the minivan were taken to University Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
