A window washer was seen dangling from a broken scaffolding 10 floors up at the Bank of America building in downtown San Antonio early Monday afternoon.
The incident occurred as a large storm system moved through the area.
The San Antonio Police Department reported that the man was no longer on the scaffolding as of 2 p.m.
A San Antonio Fire Department official said the man broke through a window to save himself.
There was no word on any injuries.
The damaged scaffolding remained in place on the side of the building.
