Three New Braunfels teens arrested after theft of Glock pistol

Police in New Braunfels bust a trio of teenagers accused of stealing a firearm.

Authorities arrested 17-year-old Nathan Mena, 18-year-old Abel Jose Rios and an unnamed 16-year-old juvenile. All are suspects in the theft of a 9 mm Glock pistol.

Police say while they were interviewing the victim, they heard shots coming from some nearby railroad tracks, and spotted the teens running away.

Mena and Rios were charged with theft of a firearm.

The 16-year-old juvenile faces a trespassing charge.
