ANNA, Texas -- An 82-year-old woman hit by an out of control car that slammed into a pizzeria Friday has died.
It happened in the Collin County town of Anna around 2 p.m.
An elderly woman was backing out of a nearby hair salon when she was startled by a honking driver. Instead of hitting the brake, she hit the accelerator.
The car ran into three people sitting at a table inside Mama Mia's Pizza restaurant. One of those hit died at the hospital.
Police said no charges will be filed.
