The search is on for a man who held up a restaurant on the city's northwest side.

Just before 2 a.m. Thursday a man walked into the Taco Madre restaurant in the 5400 block of Babcock Road.

Employees say he showed a handgun and demanded cash.

They told investigators that after they handed over the money  the thief took off on foot.

Police say they weren't able to get a good description of the man because he was wearing a bandanna over his face.
