SAN ANTONIO -- Police say a man who was apparently stabbed was struck while lying in the interstate on Thursday morning.
The I-35 South and I-35 North ramps onto I-10 West were closed temporarily before rush hour traffic.
San Antonio police Sgt. Joe Carrera said the man was in the middle of I-10 West just north of the I-35 South connector ramp when he was struck by a woman in a small sedan.
Police said the man suffered non-life threatening injuries to his legs, but was uncooperative and refused to give officers his name.
He was taken to University Hospital.
The man also would not tell officers about a puncture wound he had suffered in his abdominal area before the crash.
Police said they first received reports of a man walking on the interstate around 5:50 a.m.
