Within the last two weeks, Bexar County medical experts say there has been three H1N1-related deaths.
Dr. Fernando Guerra with San Antonio Metro Health says all three patients who died also had pre-existing risk factors such as congestive heart failure and cancer.
The third patient was a 21-year-old pregnant woman with additional health issues.
Guerra says if a third wave of the virus does hit, the number of cases may be lower because of people's natural immune systems, as well as the high number of vaccinations.
