SAN ANTONIO -- A security guard ended up in the hospital over the weekend after trying to keep a man who appeared to be intoxicated from driving out of a parking lot.

Security officers spotted a person they believed to be a drunk driver early Sunday morning and pulled him over in a parking lot near North Main and Evergreen.

Instead of getting out of his truck, the driver put the vehicle in reverse and hit one of the security guards.

The guard was taken to Methodist Hospital with minor injuries.

The truck driver was arrested by San Antonio police.
