San Antonio's chief of police is prepping for a west side neighborhood walk Friday.
Chief William McManus, Councilman David Medina and religious leaders will meet with neighbors to learn how they can help the community.
It's the second walk organized by police and it's intended to improve the safety and quality of life for residents.
The walk starts at St Timothy's Parish Hall, on 1515 Saltillo Street at 7 p.m.
