If you've ever wondered if there was a perfect time to shop, well there is - and it's not just on holidays. There are bargain days every day of the week, depending on what you're buying.
Everyone wants a full fridge. But if you don't want to break the bank, clip coupons Sunday morning and hit the store that night. Not only will you get a bargain on fresh items that have to be sold before the end of the day, you can also use the clippings to take advantage of store specials which usually run Wednesday through Tuesday - that's a triple play.
I know we're all working for the weekend, but you'll actually get a better deal if you hit up bowling alleys and restaurants mid-week. Many offer Monday through Thursday specials that disappear on the weekends.
Need a rental car? Snag one on Tuesday or Wednesday, you'll beat out the tourists and business travelers.
If you need to fill up that car or buy an airline ticket, Wednesday is your bargain day. Not only does demand drop, but in the case of flights, your best bet is the hump day three weeks prior to your trip date.
Need a new wardrobe for your trip? Hit up stores on Thursday. That's when most shops put out their new merchandise. You'll find great deals on current fashion that's only a few weeks old.
All this shopping work up an appetite? Hit up the Pearl Farmers Market on Saturday afternoons when merchants are getting ready to pack up and head home. They're more likely to wheel and deal instead of letting their fresh goods go to waste.
