SAN ANTONIO -- The remnants of Tropical Storm Hermine have kept San Antonio and South Central Texas sopping wet.
Sheets of rain kept firefighters running on overnight high-water rescues throughout the city.
Firefighters say one man hit a patch of rushing water as he drove on Highway 90 and 1604. He was swept off the road into flood waters. Crews say they found him hanging onto a tree.
Another call after 2 a.m. Wednesday involved two vehicles in the same area that needed help. Firefighters waded through water after rescuing three people from their stalled car.
Early this morning, another crew rescued a woman from her car in high water near I-35 in the Somerset area.
