UPDATE: Authorities say they have made an arrest in the TMI sex assault investigation. They say Rafael Vera enticed a teenage girl into meeting him at a park near the campus where he sexually assaulted her. Vera was captured by Bexar County Sheriff's deputies Friday evening.

SAN ANTONIO -- Police are looking for a man who is accused of sexually assaulting a teenager.

Investigators say 25-year-old Rafael Vera lied about his age, and then took advantage of a  14-year-old girl.

In mid-September the pair allegedly met at a local department store. At the time, the suspect claimed he was in high school.

Vera is accused of enticing the young girl into meeting him at a local park area near Texas Military Institute where the 14-year-old attended class.

"The suspect asked the girl to skip school and meet him at a local park. At that point they met up and the suspect assaulted the victim and that's when she went back and made the outcry to the school nurse," says officer Matt Porter.

The school nurse called police, and a warrant was issued for Vera's arrest.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Rafael Vera is asked to call the SAPD Special Victims Unit at 210-207-2313.
