Some of them jump and some of them just kind of fall off the end of the dock. But all the dogs are prouder than poodles when they emerge from the pool with their floating toys held tightly between their teeth.
Dogs in San Antonio and throughout Texas are testing their jumping ability at the Texas Hunting & Outdoor Classic this weekend inside the Freeman Expo Hall.
Dock Dogs of Texas is open to all dogs and their owner who want to give it a shot. Train or play for a $10 fee; $25 fee to compete.
Sunday is the last day of the Texas Hunting & Outdoor Classic. Dock Dogs registration and practice starts at 8:30 a.m.
