SLIDESHOW: Drought chalk: Dry fountain gets colorful art makeover

North Star Mall and Artpace San Antonio are transforming a dry fountain into a public art area. The project is called "Chalk and Shop!" and will remain in place throughout the fall. Water conservation efforts have left fountains dry, so the artwork allows the fountains to still serve an aesthetic purpose.
