Saddle up, pilgrim -- the rodeo's in town.

And it was very apparent to anyone in downtown San Antonio on Saturday morning. If you couldn't hear the 25 head of Texas Longhorns snorting and stomping down Houston Street, you'd be able to smell the other 100-some horses and roughnecks in the Western Heritage Parade.

Although downtown today isn't made up of dusty streets lined with patchy saloons, the cowboys, buckaroos and wagons in tow made San Antonio feel like the old western town it once was.

The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo runs February 9-26.
