An SAPD officer and an unidentified woman were treated for injuries Saturday night after police say the woman attacked the officer in the parking lot of the Ingram Park Mall.

According to police, the woman began undressing herself as she approached the officer's squad car.

The officer was working on paperwork and was about to begin his patrol shift when he saw the woman in his rear-view mirror.

Police said the officer got out of his car and was then attacked by the woman.

He eventually subdued her using his Taser.

The officer was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

SAPD told KENS 5 the woman was conscious and breathing at the scene before being taken to a local hospital.
