SAN ANTONIO -- Thanks to a grant from the Texas Department of Transportation, the San Antonio Police Department will be adding 55 officers to patrol the streets for drunk drivers.
The additional officers will hit the streets Friday evening through Halloween.
KENS 5 rode along with a DWI officer Friday evening who said it's extremely beneficial to have the additional help.
