SAN ANTONIO -- Police say they are looking for a man in a wheelchair suspected of stabbing another man multiple times with a screwdriver.

The stabbing occurred around 12:30 a.m. Thursday at the Villas De Valencia apartment complex in 13000 block of O'Connor Road, San Antonio police said.

The victim's roommate told investigators that he woke up to the two men arguing, police said. During which, the man in the wheelchair allegedly pulled out a screwdriver and stabbed the victim in the stomach.

The 35-year-old suspect fled in his motorized wheelchair. Police said he is a known homeless man in the area.

The 30-year-old victim was taken to San Antonio Medical Military Center with non-life threatening injuries.
