SAN ANTONIO — Police are looking for three men they say shot a woman who was allegedly buying drugs.
The victim suffered two gunshots wounds and is is recovering at University Hospital, San Antonio police said.
Officers responded to the McDonald's at the intersection of Rampart and San Pedro just before 11 p.m. Thursday.
They said a woman inside a car had been shot once in the arm and once in the stomach. Her passenger was uninjured.
Investigators said the women admitted they were trying to buy drugs from a person they found through a friend.
The women told police the drug deal unraveled shortly after they met with the three men in the 100 block of Rampart. The men allegedly fired shots at the women after they refused to pay.
The victims drove to the nearby McDonald's and called police and emergency crews.
Police said the victim have not fully cooperated with the investigation.
