A 27-year-old man was hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the back of the head following a shooting west of downtown.
He was responsive, but apparently couldn't tell authorities much about what happened in the 1700 block of Castroville Road Tuesday at around 4 p.m.
He did say he was approached by a man and a struggle ensued.
Authorities are continuing their search for the shooter who fled the scene.
Officers say the shooting may be gang-related.
