San Antonio police say they were originally called to the home for a robbery but when arrived they found an illegal gambling room complete with customers.

The bust happened just after 10 p.m. Tuesday in the 4400 block of Myrna Street near I35 and Rittiman Road.

Investigators say when the homeowner answered her door they found the game room in full swing with 19 8 Liner machines and five patrons gambling.

Police confiscated all the machines and $1300 in cash.

The homeowner was fined with more than 50 misdemeanor citations for running an illegal game room.

The five patrons were also cited for gambling.

Police say this is still an ongoing investigation and the woman could face felony charges as well.
