SAN ANTONIO -- A 22-year-old man trying to lure an underage girl into having sex with him didn't know he was actually chatting with an undercover officer, police say.
Michael Montalvo met who he thought was a 15-year-old girl in an online chat room in October 2010, according to a San Antonio police arrest warrant.
Over a two year period, investigators said Montalvo repeatedly tried to meet up with the girl to have sex.
He allegedly sent 11 pornographic and nude images of himself to who he thought was the young girl. And at one point during their investigation, police said, Montalvo set up a webcam so the young girl could watch him perform sex acts on himself.
Motalvo was arrested Thursday and charged with online solicitation of a minor. He was booked into the Bexar County bail on $20,000 bond.
