SAPD: Man critically stabbed outside northeast-side bar

SAN ANTONIO -- A man was hospitalized after getting stabbed in the chest outside a northeast-side bar early Thursday morning.

San Antonio police said the victim got into some sort of argument with the suspect outside Spanky's Bar, 5103 Randolph Blvd., around 3:35 a.m.

The suspect allegedly stabbed the victim in the chest and ran away.

The victim, who police said is in his 20s, was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition.

Officers searched the surrounding area but did not locate a suspect.
