At least two people are still on the run this morning after a hit-and-run accident near Old Highway 90 just before 11 p.m. Friday.
Police say they spotted a black Dodge Durango speeding through a neighborhood with its lights off.
Soon after, the driver crashed into a red KIA on the east-bound lanes of Old Highway 90 and the passengers inside the Durango bailed out.
Officers chased after the suspects on foot, and even launched the helicopter, but were unable to find them.
The passengers inside the KIA sustained some broken bones.
