SAN ANTONIO -- Customers at a southeast-side food mart were left shaken after a man barged in with a gun in broad daylight on Sunday.
The suspect allegedly entered the Amigos Mart in the 2800 block of S. New Braunfels around 12:30 p.m. and ordered all customers to get behind the counter, San Antonio police said.
The suspect demanded money from the register before running away, police said.
Customers said the suspect waved his gun in their faces, warning them not to "do anything foolish."
Police searched the surrounding area and also launched the Blue Eagle helicopter but couldn't track down the suspect.
