SAN ANTONIO -- Police responded to the city's east-side on Friday afternoon following reports of a shooting at North New Braunfels and Logan.
Authorities said the victim was shot in the back and robbed around 4 p.m. after selling his car.
"It appears they witnessed the selling party leave the location and followed that particular person," SAPD Sgt. Gary Pelfery said.
At this time, police don't believe the purchasers of the victim's vehicle had any involvement in the shooting.
The victim was rushed to SAMMC with non-life threatening injuries, but still no arrests have been made.
