CPS Energy and police have a warning for San Antonio residents.
They say someone posing as a CPS Energy employee assaulted a woman.
On Sunday the impostor allegedly told the victim he was at her home to cut down some trees in the west service area.
The fake worker was wearing a CPS Energy vest and he was in an unmarked full-sized white pickup truck.
San Antonio police say the man pulled a gray mask over his face and grabbed the woman by the shoulders.
She managed to get away and lock herself in a bedroom, but the suspect broke in.
The report says he told the women to do what he asked of her or he would hurt her.
Someone screaming outside at a party startled the suspect and he ran off.
The victim says the man pretended to have a gun in his back pants.
Authorities say the suspect faces charges of burglary with intent to commit assault.
