Two San Antonio families have been forced out of their apartments by lint build-up, says SAFD.
At around 11 p.m. Wednesday some lint in a dryer on the second floor of an apartment building in the 3900 block of Perrin Central began smoking. That smoke then set off the building's sprinklers, flooding the top and bottom apartments.
Resulting damages are at an estimated $10,000.
The two families are not expected to be able to return to their apartments for a week.
