SAN ANTONIO -- A San Antonio man accused of shooting his pregnant girlfriend and killing her mom and sister has been found guilty.
A Bexar County jury ruled James Davis Morrison guilty of capital murder on Friday evening.
Morrison's attorneys argued their client was acting in self defense when he shot the three women on April 18, 2009 at the Saddlewood Apartments in northeast San Antonio.
Candice Moten, who was dating Morrison at the time, was in a week-long coma after the shooting. Her mother, sister and unborn child all died.
