San Antonio Police said they've finally caught the man who allegedly robbed a south-side flower shop back in October.

Joe Chase, 59, is facing robbery charges in connection to the incident that happened in October 2011.

Police said the robber and a woman walked into the store, and while the owner was helping a customer outside, the robber grabbed cash out of the register.

The owner told police he walked back in and caught the robber taking money.

He told investigators he asked the robber to put the money back, but he refused.

The owner said he thought the robber was reaching for a a weapon, so he pulled out a gun.

The two men struggled until the robber pulled away and took off.

According to Chase's arrest warrant, police checked out the robber's female companion and were eventually led to Chase.

Chase is currently being held in the Bexar County Jail on a $20,000 bond.
