SAN ANTONIO -- Police say a man was arrested for allegedly stabbing his girlfriend's 16-year-old son in the back on the neck early Sunday morning.
San Antonio police said 38-year-old Jose Alfredo was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and serious bodily injury to a family member.
The victim allegedly ran from a home in the 1300 block of West Travis and walked to the Bexar County Jail to report the stabbing around 1:30 a.m.
Police said Alfredo was not at the home when they went to investigate, but was quickly tracked down.
The victim was taken to University Hospital in stable condition.
