A 33-year-old man is charged with impersonating a public servant.
San Antonio Police say during a road rage incident Juan Mireles flashed a badge and ordered the other driver to pull over.
Mireles urged the media to ask him questions as he was walked away in handcuffs to a patrol car. He's charged with Impersonating a Public Servant. Bond was set at $15,000.
The victim said on Feb. 17 in the 1800 block of Jackson-Keller Road he tried to pass Mireles, who became angry.
Mireles reportedly spat on the driver's vehicle. The report said Mireles sounded a police horn and ordered the other driver to pull over. The other driver thought Mireles was an officer and tried to pull over at Jackson-Keller Elementary.
Investigators said Mireles approached a crossing guard who appeared to be a school district police officer. When the truth started to surface, police said Mireles yelled he was an officer and drove away.
Mireles was wanted for questioning in another incident from last July. In that case police arrested a man accused of impersonating an officer and illegally searching a family.
