One lucky person won a new Harley Davidson motorcycle today in a charity raffle.
Proceeds from the summer long fundraiser go towards the Animal Defense League of Texas, in order to expand their hospital. The goal was to sell 2,500 tickets at $25 each.
The ADL, which is the state's largest no-kill shelter, partnered with H-E-B to hold an adoption event Saturday during H-E-B’S early childhood literacy program.
According to the ADL, they continue to see a growing need for their services in San Antonio due to an over population of animals.
