What to do with a stately estate? That was partly decided Thursday by the San Antonio City Council.

The Red Berry estate was recently purchased by the City of San Antonio.

At the Thursday council meeting it was agreed that Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation will take in the unique animals that have called Red Berry home for years.

In a contracted agreement, the city will donate no more than $25,000 to the group to offset the cost of the animals' care.

Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation is headquartered in Kendalia, Texas.
