If you want to sound off about a proposed San Antonio Water System rate hike, you'll have your chance.
The 9.9 percent increase in water rates would amount to an extra $5 a month per household.
The money would be used to rehab the city's sewer system and construct a new groundwater desalination plant.
SAWS plans to hold at least 20 public meetings on the issue. The meetings will be held in various locations around the city.
The first is scheduled for Wednesday, November 28, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at SAWS Headquarters Customer Service Building, located at 2800 U.S. Hwy. 281 at Mulberry.
