Animal Care Services (ACS) was busting out the soap and nail clippers to meet the city's no-kill goal.
Dogs of all kinds were bathed, primped and combed to raise money for dog owners who can't afford spay and neuter surgeries for their pets.
At the event doggie baths cost $5, brush-outs were $3 and paw-pedi's were only $1.
"If everybody spayed and neutered their pets, we wouldn't have unwanted litters being born. And we could be able to be a no-kill shelter where we could hold those animals here until they found a home," said Jeanne Saadi with ACS.
The Saturday pedi-spa raised over $1,000. Saadi says based on this success she hopes they can do the event every month.
