Police are searching for two thieves wearing red bandanas after an early morning home invasion on San Antonio's southside.
Police got a call after 5 a.m. Friday morning about a robbery in the 200 block of Hermitage Ct. A mother and her son were inside the home at the time of the invasion.
The victims tell Eyewitness News the robbers forcefully broke into the home wearing hoods and red bandanas.
According to the victims, the thieves were armed with a knife and a bat. They grabbed the female victim then put a bandana around her face and forced her on the floor. The bandits then put a knife to the male victim's face, stuffed a sock in his mouth and demanded cash. The thieves got away with cash and a cell phone.
