UNIVERSAL CITY -- Police in Universal City say John Hill, 48, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana on Thursday following a raid at a home in the 700 block of Garden Meadow.
Police said they seized 27 marijuana plants that were growing on the second floor of the home, along with lights, fans and other growing equipment.
Investigators said they learned about the grow operation from an anonymous tip and had been watching Hill for nearly six months.
Hill could be facing more charges pending the outcome of lab results, police said.
