SAN ANTONIO -- A 49-year-old woman is dead after she was hit by a dump truck when she tried to cross the street.
San Antonio Police says the fatal accident happened just after 6 p.m. on Wednesday on Fresno near Blanco. Witnesses told police the pedestrian was trying to cross the street but she might not have seen the dump truck coming in the other direction. The driver of the dump truck did stop and is not facing any charges.
