SAN ANTONIO — Councilwoman Ivy Taylor met Monday with a local panel at a monthly Lighthouse luncheon to answer questions regarding different components of the strategy to improve the city's east side.
The U.S. Department of Education recently awarded the area $24 million through the Promise Neighborhood Grant.
The panel met in response to a large volume of interest from the community.
