The reigning 2011 champs started the new season with a loss as the Tulsa Drillers beat the San Antonio Missions 7-2 at Nelson Wolff Stadium on Thursday, April 5, 2012. Prior to the game, members of last year’s Championship Team were presented with their championship rings and a team trophy as the championship banner was hoisted on a pole beside the US Flag.
