Police say at least three men were in a hotel room having a party when a gun was pulled and one man was shot in the chest.
It happened at the Roadway Inn on the 10,000 block of Laureate Drive. on the city's north west side.
The victim was taken to University Hospital.
One of those men left the scene in a Dodge SUV, and investigators say that man is now considered a person of interest.
