Police say they've caught two armed robbery suspects on the spot just moments after they allegedly held up a Walgreens on the city's northwest side.
At around 10:20 p.m., the alleged armed robbery took place at Loop 1604 and Culebra. Reportedly, the suspects came in with a black revolver and wearing hoodies and bandanas.
Police said they took cash from the register and fled in a burgundy Ford Contour. No one suffered injuries.
Then, at 11:15 p.m. the same suspects reportedly attempted another armed robbery at Tezel and Mainland Roads.
The manager spotted them coming in o the store and they took off, after which the manager called police.
At 11:45 p.m., a patrol officer spotted the suspects at Hidden Ledge and Les Harrison Drive and took the gun, arrested them for aggravated robbery.
