SAN ANTONIO -- Occupy San Antonio protesters are passing around an "ironic" photo that shows what appears to be a park police officer snoozing on the job.
They said the photo is ironic because the officer was supposed to be keeping an eye on the Occupy camp to make sure that the protesters didn't fall asleep, and to write them tickets if they did.
San Antonio police Chief William McManus said he suspects the officer inadvertently nodded off, but will find out once he talks to the officer. He also said he will take further action, if necessary, to make sure it doesn't happen again.
Protesters distributed the photo on Wednesday. It was allegedly taken sometime Tuesday night.
