New Braunfels police are investigating how two people ended up shot to death inside their home.
Authorities say it could be a murder-suicide case that brought them to the locked door of a bedroom in the home located in the 2800 block of Windgate Drive.
That is where 37-year-old Elizabeth Trevino and her common law spouse, 39-year-old Augustine Garcia, were found dead Monday morning. Each suffered a single gun shot wound to the head.
