NEW BRAUNFELS -- The fight over what has become known as the "can ban" will continue in New Braunfels and on its popular rivers.
A judge this morning ruled that a group of business owners will be allowed to sue the city for imposing a ban on disposable containers.
The ban, which went into effect this year, prohibits disposable containers -- beer cans -- on the Comal and Guadalupe rivers in New Braunfels.
The business owners want to get an injunction in place to stop the city from enforcing the ban.
