Highway 90 near Leon Creek was back open early Tuesday morning following a fatal motorcycle accident overnight.
Police said two motorcyclists were headed eastbound on the highway near Acme Road on San Antonio's west side at around 2 a.m. Tuesday. They reached speeds of 100 miles per hour, police reported.
Brandon Carter, 29, who was riding one of those motorcycles, slammed into the back of a tow truck that had a pickup truck in tow.
He died at the scene.
