After a China Grove man purchased an RV at a local auction, he found what looked like bundles of heroin stashed inside the vehicle.

He called police and turned over the bundles.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection released a statement Wednesday saying, "The tests conclusively reveal the packages did not contain narcotic substances of any type."

Border Patrol says they were probably mock drugs that were used for training purposes then inadvertently left behind.
