SAN ANTONIO -- Miss San Antonio takes her case to a district judge today, asking to keep her crown.

With perfect poise, Domonique Ramirez entered the courtroom to take the witness stand.

Pageant organizers claim she was chronically late for appearances, was overweight at times and wasn't upholding their standards.

She was 7 minutes early to her court appearance. Ramirez is in court asking for a temporary injunction that would bar the pageant from giving her title to the "runner-up."

The Miss Bexar County Organization provided a list of her violations, but only after they were sued by the beauty queen. And then, one by one, the 17 year old's attorney went through the list of her alleged failures, calling them complete fabrications.

As for being fat, there was a picture entered into evidence of her in slim, white interview suit.

From the stand today, Ramirez read parts of her contract to the courtroom. It spells out she can be terminated if she's pregnant or married.

She says she's neither.

The former executive director of the pageant took the stand to tell the court she didn't think Domonique Ramirez deserved to get the crown taken away.

She is expected to be on the stand again Wednesday morning when the hearing continues.
