SAN ANTONIO -- A 31-year-old man wanted on a federal warrant lead officers on a chase on the city' west side on Wednesday morning.
San Antonio police said the chase started near Highway 90 and Callaghan Road around 2:30 a.m. The driver allegedly refused to pull over for a traffic stop.
The driver never reached a high rate of speed, police said, but ran several red lights and stop signs in the Lackland Terrace neighborhood.
The suspect eventually crashed into a parked car and tried to take off running, but was quickly taken down by officers, police said.
Officers said they used a Taser to subdue the suspect.
They said they found the man was wanted on a federal warrant when they ran his license plates.
The name of the suspect was not immediately available.
